Volunteer Firefighters

Be a Community Hero

District Number Ten is always looking for dedicated community members to join our volunteer team. Whether you're interested in firefighting, medical response, or support services—there's a place for you.

What We're Looking For:

  • Ages 18+ (or 16+ for junior firefighter program)
  • Resident of or near Red Islands area
  • Willingness to train and respond to emergencies
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Physical fitness appropriate for emergency work
  • Commitment to serving the community

No previous experience necessary! We provide comprehensive training in all aspects of firefighting and emergency response.

Firefighter

Train in fire suppression, rescue operations, and emergency scene management. Respond to fires and other emergencies throughout our service area.

Medical Responder

Provide first responder medical care at emergency scenes. Receive training in CPR, first aid, and emergency medical response techniques.

Support Services

Assist with administrative tasks, equipment maintenance, fundraising, community outreach, and other essential behind-the-scenes operations.
